Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Hickman County

Hickman County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They never let the Fulton County Pilots get on the board and left with an 18-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Hickman County let Kaylee Britton and Kylie Meshew run wild. Britton got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Meshew went 1-for-2 with one home run and six RBI. Those six RBI gave Meshew a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Audrey Tucker, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Hickman County's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Fulton County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

As of now, neither Hickman County nor the Pilots have any future games scheduled.
