Soccer Recap: Warsaw Comes Up Short

Warsaw had taken Geneseo down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Tigers lost 4-1 to the Blue Devils. Warsaw haven't had much luck with Geneseo recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Warsaw's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Geneseo, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Warsaw is taking a road trip to square off against Attica at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Warsaw will be up against Attica's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.67 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Geneseo, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Honeoye Falls-Lima at 6:30 p.m.
