Football Recap: Zack Pentz's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Klahowya over Kingston + How To Watch

Klahowya extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-33 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kingston Buccaneers. Even if the Eagles couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Klahowya lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Zack Pentz, who threw for 147 yards and three TDs, and also punched in one rushing score. Another player making a difference was Cruz Olvera, who picked up 45 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Kingston's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their eight-point performance the contest before.

Joziah Knight was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 153 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Those 153 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Nick Whitbeck was another key rusher, rushing for 41 yards and a pair of TDs.

Klahowya wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 21-7 defeat against Annie Wright on the 25th. As for Kingston, they have also already played their next matchup, a 21-6 loss against Bellevue Christian on the 27th.
