Volleyball Recap: Woodsboro Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mathis on Monday, Woodsboro came back down to earth. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Alice Coyotes on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Coyotes: they've now lost three in a row.

While Woodsboro was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 25-14.

Woodsboro's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Woodsboro will take on Incarnate Word Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alice, they will welcome Ray at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
