Baseball Game Preview: Red Bird Cardinals vs. Lynn Camp Wildcats

Red Bird is 0-5 against Lynn Camp since April of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Cardinals will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Red Bird is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They lost 16-1 to Jackson City.

Owsley County hit Lynn Camp with a four-run sixth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wildcats came up short against the Owls / Lady Owls, falling 12-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered since March 20th.

Curry has become a key player for the Wildcats: the team is 5-2 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 2-12 otherwise. Caleb Woods was another, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Lynn Camp's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Red Bird, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
