Softball Recap: Shadow Creek Comes Up Short

If Shadow Creek was feeling good fresh off their 24-11 takedown of Pasadena Memorial last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sharks lost 14-3 to the Pearland Oilers on Friday. The Sharks haven't had much luck with the Oilers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Shadow Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Pearland, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-6.

Coincidentally, Shadow Creek and Pearland will both be playing South Houston the next time they take the field. The Sharks will head out to face the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Oilers will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
