Softball Game Preview: Parker Broncs vs. Chino Valley Cougars

The Parker Broncs will square off against the Chino Valley Cougars at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Parker has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Chino Valley will arrive with three straight wins.

Parker came up short against River Valley on Thursday, falling 13-3.

Meanwhile, Chino Valley never let their opponents score on Thursday. They came out on top against Tonopah Valley by a score of 4-0.

Jamie Felton was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Smith, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one RBI.

Chino Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tonopah Valley only posted a batting average of .000.

Chino Valley now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Parker, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1.
