Trico is a perfect 10-0 against Steeleville since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Pioneers will venture away from home to face off against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Trico is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Trico came up short against Hamilton County on Saturday, falling 9-1.

Trico saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liv Lawrence, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Steeleville didn't have quite enough to beat Elverado on Wednesday and fell 7-5.

Karsen Wedemeyer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-4. She also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Zoey Wolf, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 2-6. As for Steeleville, their record now sits at 1-5.

Everything went Trico's way against Steeleville when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Trico made off with a 19-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pioneers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
