Baseball Recap: New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Takes a Loss

New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy was the 13-3 winner over Frederick A. Douglass when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs came up short against the Bobcats on Wednesday, falling 14-5. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Frederick A. Douglass, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy will head out to take on Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Frederick A. Douglass, they will square off against Warren Easton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
