Soccer Recap: Culpeper County Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Culpeper County and Spotsylvania, and Spotsylvania kept the tradition alive. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Culpeper County were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Spotsylvania earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Culpeper County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-2. As for Spotsylvania, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Culpeper County will welcome Courtland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Courtland will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Culpeper County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Spotsylvania, they will host Caroline at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Spotsylvania are facing Caroline at the right time seeing as Caroline are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
