Football Recap: St. David's Comes Up Short

St. David played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 50-6 loss at the hands of the Pungo Christian Academy Raiders. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-6.

The critical scores for Pungo Christian Academy came from Carr Eagles, Michael Cripe, Parker Byrd, Trent Armstrong, and Hayes Walker.

St. David's now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pungo Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

St. David's will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Halifax Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Pungo Christian Academy, they will take on Northeast Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
