Basketball Game Preview: Napoleon Wildcats vs. Wauseon Indians

The Napoleon Wildcats will face off against the Wauseon Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Napoleon will be strutting in after a win while Wauseon will be coming in after a defeat.

Napoleon proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 26) and on Sunday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Clay, sneaking past 53-50.

Meanwhile, Wauseon was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 50-44 to Pettisville. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Napoleon's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Wauseon, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Napoleon couldn't quite finish off Wauseon in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 and fell 52-50. Can Napoleon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
