Basketball Recap: Hankinson Starts Season with Win Against Wyndmere/Lidgerwood

Hankinson had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds by a score of 53-42 on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Wyndmere/Lidgerwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Hankinson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-27 loss against Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] on the 10th. As for Wyndmere/Lidgerwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 54-30 defeat against LaMoure/Litchville-Marion on the 10th.
