Basketball Recap: Weleetka Skates Past Gans with Ease

Weleetka came tearing into Monday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Gans Grizzlies to the tune of 65-22. The Outlaws have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Grizzlies, too.

Weleetka's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.3 points per game. As for Gans, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Weleetka wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-44 loss against Riverfield Country Day on the 21st. As for Gans, they will head out on the road to take on Midway at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. Gans is facing Midway at the right time seeing as Midway is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
