Volleyball Recap: Putnam City West Takes a Loss

If Putnam City West was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Grant last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots came up short against the Enid Plainsmen on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 5, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Putnam City West's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Enid, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-9.

Putnam City West will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Putnam City at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Enid, they will face off against Midwest City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
