Volleyball Recap: Calexico Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Calexico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Imperial Tigers, falling 3-0. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-8, 25-21.

JOHANNA GALLEGO paced Calexico's offense, picking up ten kills. GALLEGO got some help from ALEXA AGUILAR and her seven assists. JAZIELY SALAIS controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Calexico's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Imperial, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Calexico wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Holtville on the 26th. As for Imperial, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against El Capitan on the 21st.
