Basketball Recap: Polytechnic Sets Scoring Season-High Against EF Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Polytechnic). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat EF Academy 89-22. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 30 points or more this season.

Polytechnic has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for EF Academy, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

Polytechnic won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Rio Hondo Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Polytechnic has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. EF Academy has already played their next contest (against Sequoyah School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
