Preview: Alba-Golden Panthers vs. Boles Hornets
The Alba-Golden Panthers will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Boles Hornets at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Alba-Golden has eight straight wins, Boles has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Wednesday, Alba-Golden earned a 46-35 win over Como-Pickton.
Meanwhile, Boles came up short against Cooper on Wednesday and fell 58-50. Boles has not had much luck with Cooper recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Alba-Golden has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Boles, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 13-14.
Alba-Golden strolled past Boles when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 60-43. Will Alba-Golden repeat their success, or does Boles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
