South Beloit is a perfect 3-0 against Alden-Hebron since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Sobos will take on the Green Giants at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated after five games, but that won't be the case come Friday.

South Beloit is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Illinois' top teams: Hiawatha, who was ranked 16th at the time (South Beloit was ranked sixth). The Sobos blew past the Hawks 34-14 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Sobos, who have now won three games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Alden-Hebron was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Christian Life/Keith Country Day 51-18. The Green Giants are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the third contest they've won by 20+ points this season.

South Beloit's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Alden-Hebron, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 5-0.

South Beloit didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Alden-Hebron in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 6-0 win.
