Basketball Recap: Mccook Piles Up the Points Against Lexington

McCook lost to Lexington back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The McCook Bison claimed a resounding 61-14 victory over the Lexington Minutemen. The game marked the Bison's most dominant win of the season.

McCook is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Lexington, their defeat was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

McCook will host North Platte at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Lexington, they will square off against Cozad at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cozad knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Lexington likes a good challenge.
