Baseball Recap: Steele Canyon Comes Up Short at Home Against University City

Steele Canyon unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the University City Centurions on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 21 in a row.

Steele Canyon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Davey, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Steele Canyon will head out on the road to take on Madison at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for University City, they will take on La Jolla Country Day at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
