Basketball Recap: Chestertown Christian Academy Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Chestertown Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They secured a 49-45 W over the Calvary Christian Academy LIONS. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chestertown Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than John Stoltzfus, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards. Stoltzfus has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brian Lloyd, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 14 points and four steals.

Chestertown Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Chestertown Christian Academy pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-8.

Chestertown Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 43-33 defeat against Greenwood Mennonite on the 31st. Calvary Christian Academy has also already played their next contest, a 58-41 win against Fairwinds Christian on the 30th.
