It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Academy of the Holy Names can now relate to. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dunedin Falcons on Thursday. The Jaguars' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Academy of the Holy Names saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava LaBarbera, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Academy of the Holy Names' defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Dunedin, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.
