St. Francis's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victor by an 88-62 margin over the Kenosha Christian Life Eagles. The Mariners have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

St. Francis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Josh Green, who went 9-for-14 on his way to 19 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. Green also grabbed six steals, which is notable because St. Francis is 7-2 when he posts at least three steals, but 3-9 otherwise. Cameron Nerby was another key player, going 8-for-14 to rack up 20 points in addition to seven boards and five assists.

Green wasn't the only one working in the assist department: St. Francis was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.

St. Francis' win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Kenosha Christian Life, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
