Volleyball Recap: Ethan Smead and Parker Mitchell Secure Win for ALA - West Foothills

ALA - West Foothills picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Desert Edge Scorpions.

ALA - West Foothills was led to victory by Parker Mitchell and Ethan Smead. Mitchell had three digs and two aces, while Smead had 16 assists. That's the most aces Mitchell has posted since back in April of 2024.

ALA - West Foothills' win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Desert Edge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Coming up, ALA - West Foothills will take on St. John Paul II Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Desert Edge will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Central at 5:00 p.m. on March 18th.
