Findlay Prep senior and future Kentucky Wildcat put on a show at Iolani Classic in December.

Love him or hate him, you might have more in common with Floyd Mayweather than you think.

The undefeated boxing legend is a big high school basketball fan, even lending his name to an annual showcase event in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Mayweather hit the high school hoops scene Tuesday night, watching his friend and first-year head coach P.J. Washington Sr. lead Independent Top 10 No. 5 Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.) to an easy win over Elite One Academy of Arizona.
Kentucky signee P.J. Washington showed out with 20 points and Mayweather enjoyed every second of it.

"We've known each other for a while now and he was just there to support our program," the Findlay Prep head coach told MaxPreps.

As for the question on everyone's mind, will Mayweather step inside the ring with UFC champion Conor McGregor?

"I guess you're going to have to wait and see," Washington joked.
