Soccer Recap: Steele Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Steele can now relate to. They lost 5-1 to the Hoover Vikings on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Steele couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Carter Boone, who's now up to two this season.

Steele moved to 11-5-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Hoover, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3-5.
