Recap: Manti Templars vs. Canyon View Falcons
The Canyon View Falcons typically have all the answers at home, but on Friday the Manti Templars proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victor by a 55-35 margin over the Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Manti has posted since December 2, 2023.
It was another big night for Hunter Stevens, who scored 18 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Reggie Frischknecht, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Manti has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Canyon View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manti will take on Emery at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Emery is ranked 43rd, while Manti is ranked 31st). As for Canyon View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Juab at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Juab is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
