Football Game Preview: Kaiser Cats vs. Rim of the World Fighting Scots + How To Watch

The Kaiser Cats will venture away from home to take on the Rim of the World Fighting Scots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kaiser will be strutting in after a win while Rim of the World will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Kaiser needed a bit of extra time to put away San Gorgonio. They walked away with a 28-21 victory over the Spartans. The win continues a trend for the Cats in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won four in a row.

Kaiser didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Sergio Amezcua and Bayron Tripp. Tripp also rushed for 180 rushing yards, which is notable because Kaiser is 3-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Rim of the World came up short against Colton on Friday and fell 56-49. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (35), the Fighting Scots still had to take the loss.

Having lost for the first time this season, Rim of the World fell to 8-1. As for Kaiser, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Kaiser took their win against Rim of the World in their previous matchup back in October of 2023 by a conclusive 40-14 score. In that matchup, the Cats amassed a halftime lead of 34-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
