Volleyball Recap: Heritage Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

While Heritage didn't have the best season last year (they finished 17-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Anna with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for Heritage, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Heritage walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-16.

Sophie Webb paced Heritage's offense, picking up 16 kills. Webb got some help from Emree Reinhardt and her 15 assists. Candace Jones controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Heritage's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-5. As for Anna, they moved to 12-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Heritage will be taking part in a tournament against Grandview at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Anna, they will take on Hutto in a tournament on Thursday.
