Football Game Preview: Union Cougars vs. Ben Lomond Scots

The Union Cougars will square off against the Ben Lomond Scots at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Union is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Union made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Ogden, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cougars fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 28-26 on Friday.

Union might have lost, but man, Jd Mojado was a machine: he rushed for 132 yards and one score. Mojado has become a key player for the Cougars: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 0-4 otherwise. Dylan Murphy-Watahomigie was in the mix too, providing Union with two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Ben Lomond's offense. They were beaten by Logan 36-0 on Friday.

Ben Lomond's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Union, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
