Soccer Game Preview: East St. John vs. South Lafourche

The East St. John Wildcats will venture away from home to square off against the South Lafourche Tarpons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East St. John's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, East St. John turned things around against Lutcher on Saturday. They and the Bulldogs finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Wildcats' first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, South Lafourche made sure to put some goals up on the board against Riverside Academy on Saturday. They blew past the Rebels 9-1. Considering the Tarpons have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

South Lafourche now has a winning record of 8-7. East St. John's draw gives them a new season record of 4-11-1.
