Baseball Recap: River Bluff Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with A.C. Flora

River Bluff faced A.C. Flora in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Gators fell 8-3 to the Falcons. The Gators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

River Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for A.C. Flora, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season.

River Bluff will challenge Hammond at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for A.C. Flora, they will square off against Airport at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Falcons have won six straight at home, while the Eagles won eight straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
