Baseball Recap: Calhoun Takes a Loss

Calhoun fell victim to Sinton and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Pirates. The Sandcrabs haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Calhoun's loss dropped their record down to 9-12-1. As for Sinton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Calhoun and Sinton will both be playing Ingleside the next time they take the field. The Pirates will host the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Sandcrabs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
