Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Skates Past the Rock Academy with Ease

Grace Christian won the last time they faced The Rock Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Crusader blew past the Lions 57-24. The Crusader have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 28 points or more this season.

Grace Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Thad Shuler out in front who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Shuler is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Zechariah Griffith, who shot 71% from the field to rack up 11 points and eight rebounds.

Grace Christian's record is now 4-5. As for The Rock Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Grace Christian will head out to challenge Peoples Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for The Rock Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 61-26 loss against Southern Christian on the 6th.
