Volleyball Recap: Wrangell Wolves vs. Mountain City Christian Academy Lions        
        
		
             On Saturday, the Wrangell Wolves didn't have quite enough to beat the Mountain City Christian Academy Lions and fell  2-1. The Wolves have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Wrangell sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 23-25,  15-11.
 Despite the loss, Wrangell still got an impressive performance from   Christina Johnson, who  had three  aces and ten  assists. Johnson is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served three or more in the last three games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Even though they lost, Wrangell  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with ten  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since back in December of 2023.
 Wrangell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Mountain City Christian Academy, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 12-16 record  this season.
 Wrangell has already played their next game,  a  2-0  loss against West Anchorage on the 5th. As for Mountain City Christian Academy, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  2-0  defeat against Mt. Edgecumbe on the 5th.
