Basketball Recap: South Garner Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Garner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost an 80-74 heartbreaker at the hands of the Willow Spring Storm. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Storm apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

South Garner's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Willow Spring, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. South Garner will face off against Sanderson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Titans will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.4 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Willow Spring, they will head out on the road to square off against Cary at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
