Basketball Recap: Fairlawn Comes Up Short

Fairlawn suffered their biggest defeat since January 24th on Friday. They lost 49-25 to the Jackson Center Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Jets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 664th, while the Tigers are ranked 242nd).

Fairlawn's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Jackson Center, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Looking ahead, Fairlawn will take on Franklin Monroe in a tournament on February 22nd. As for Jackson Center, they will face off against Catholic Central at 3:30 p.m. on February 22nd.
