Softball Game Preview: Molalla Indians vs. Madras White Buffaloes

Molalla is 2-8 against Madras since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Indians will head out to take on the White Buffaloes at 4:30 p.m. Neither Molalla nor Madras posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Molalla is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They lost 10-0 to Crook County.

Meanwhile, Madras was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against The Dalles, falling 16-1.

Molalla's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Madras, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Molalla couldn't quite finish off Madras in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 and fell 6-4. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
