Reagan proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 34) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Varela Vipers 14-13. That's more bragging rights for the Bison, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Reagan's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Varela, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Reagan is set to square off against their familiar foe Hialeah Gardens at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Varela will challenge rival Braddock at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
