Basketball Game Preview: Belmont Bison vs. Meadowdale Lions

Belmont is 1-9 against Meadowdale since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Belmont Bison will venture away from home to face off against the Meadowdale Lions at 5:30 p.m.

Belmont is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Sunday. They were dealt a 41-6 defeat at the hands of DePaul Cristo Rey. The game marked the Bison's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Mashayla Valentine was Belmont's leading scorer, having posted four points. Ashlynn Cox held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Meadowdale had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Taft 46-31 on Sunday.

Meadowdale's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Belmont, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
