Marlboro County had lost four games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 4-7 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Darlington Falcons with a sharp 12-1 victory. The Bulldogs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for Darlington, they dropped their record down to 5-15 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. Falcons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Marlboro County since on Thursday.

For Darlington's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryder Morgan, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Morgan has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played.
