Basketball Recap: Scottsdale Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Scottsdale Christian Academy won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Northwest Christian Crusaders, falling 54-24. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Northwest Christian found their leader in freshman Adrianna Stannard, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 14 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. The dominant performance gave Stannard a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Seifried, who posted nine points.

Scottsdale Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Northwest Christian, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Scottsdale Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 65-31 loss against Phoenix Christian on the 6th. As for Northwest Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 46-25 victory against San Tan Foothills on the 6th.
