Basketball Recap: Christian Academy of Madison Drops Highest Score of Season Against Seven Oaks Classical

Christian Academy of Madison scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Seven Oaks Classical Firehawks by a score of 63-61. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Defenders have suffered since November 17, 2023.

Despite the loss, Christian Academy of Madison saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Eva Fox went 9 of 18 en route to 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fox has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elise Coulter, who went 5 for 11 on her way to 15 points.

Even though they lost, Christian Academy of Madison was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Christian Academy of Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Seven Oaks Classical, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
