Dexter put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 38-34 victory over the Penobscot Valley Howlers. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Dexter's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryce Cooper, who posted 11 points in addition to five boards and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Doherty, who put up 12 points and six rebounds.

Dexter's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Penobscot Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Dexter is taking a road trip to challenge Mattanawcook at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Mattanawcook's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Penobscot Valley, they will host Stearns at 6:30 p.m. on December 27th.
