Patriot - Stripes recap October 22, 2013

Columbia extended the longest winning streak in Patriot - Stripes this week by beating Lutheran West, 21-7. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Raiders.

Fairview took down Brooklyn 49-21 last week, the largest margin of any game. Drew Kostos ran for 196 yards during the win.

Roger Engle threw for 357 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Kostos was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 196 yards on 11 carries as the Warriors bested Oberlin. Quinn Gullette also contributed to the rushing game with 108 yards on the ground.

The Clippers' Engle and Gerrell Williams led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Engle has thrown for 2,198 yards this season, while Williams has 51 catches for 832 yards. Kostos from Fairview leads the league in rushing with 848 yards.

The Hurricanes are currently in sixth, while Columbia is in first.

Clearview led Patriot - Stripes in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on the The Phoenix. Engle in the win.
