Volleyball Recap: Blackduck Comes Up Short

Blackduck lost against Pine River-Backus back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Drakes came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The Drakes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Blackduck's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Pine River-Backus, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Blackduck will face off against Red Lake County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pine River-Backus, they will square off against Cass Lake-Bena at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
