It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tocoi Creek had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 56-30 margin over the Buchholz Bobcats. The Toros have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Tocoi Creek to victory were Gabi Iturralde and Audrey Beyer. Iturralde went 6 of 11 on her way to 15 points along with six assists and four steals, while Beyer went 5 for 10 en route to 16 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Asiana McCreary, who posted eight points and three blocks.

Tocoi Creek is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Buchholz, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.
