Volleyball Recap: Families Instructing Students Homeschool's Loss Ends Nine-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Families Instructing Students HomeSchool was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Florida College Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hawks fell just short of the Hernando Christian Academy Lions by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-17, 19-25, 25-22, 15-11.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3. As for Hernando Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Families Instructing Students HomeSchool will take on Excel Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hernando Christian Academy, they will face off against North Tampa Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
