Volleyball Recap: Sultan Comes Up Short

After flying high against Vashon Island last Thursday, Sultan came back down to earth. The Turks came up short against the La Conner Braves on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Turks of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 25-3.

Sultan has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9-1 record this season. As for La Conner, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-5-1 record this season.

Sultan will be playing in front of their home fans against Inglemoor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for La Conner, they will head out to square off against Coupeville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
